Bayside Council’s Spring Fair brought free rides, children’s activities, live entertainment and an outdoor movie to Eastlakes Reserve on Saturday 5 September.
The community event ran through the afternoon and evening and was designed as a free family day out, with food and entertainment alongside activities for children.
What was included
The program included amusement rides and family activities, stage entertainment and food options, with the event finishing with an outdoor movie after dark.
Holding the fair at Eastlakes Reserve gave residents a local event within the neighbourhood rather than requiring families to travel to a larger regional festival.
A community event rather than an ongoing service
The Spring Fair was a one-day event and has now finished. Bayside News has updated this article so it no longer reads as an upcoming-event notice after the date has passed.
Residents looking for future fairs and community activities should check Bayside Council’s current events calendar, as dates, locations and programs can change from year to year.
Keeping the story useful after the event
The permanent value of this article is as a record of the 2026 Eastlakes event. If Council publishes attendance figures, outcomes or details of a future Spring Fair, Bayside News can update the story or report the new development separately.
