Wolli Creek Markets bring food, produce and local makers to Cahill Park

The free monthly market returns this Sunday from 9am to 3pm

Wolli Creek has a regular monthly market at Cahill Park, giving residents a local place to buy fresh produce, food and goods from independent stallholders.

The Wolli Creek Markets run from 9am to 3pm on the second Sunday of each month. Entry is free and the current schedule runs through to July 2027.

What is at the market

Bayside Council’s community noticeboard lists fresh produce, flowers, artisan products, cooked food, fashion, gifts and accessories among the goods available. Multicultural street food is also part of the market offering.

The market is designed as a family-friendly community event at Cahill Park rather than simply a shopping destination, giving residents another reason to use the foreshore park and spend time locally.

When the markets are held

The market launched in July 2026 and is scheduled for the second Sunday of every month. Upcoming dates listed by Council include 11 October, 8 November and 13 December 2026, followed by monthly dates from January through July 2027.

Because it is a recurring event, Bayside News will keep this as a permanent introduction to the market rather than publishing essentially the same story every month. A new article would only be warranted where there is a significant change, special edition or other newsworthy development.

For visitors and stallholders

Cahill Park is in Wolli Creek, beside the Cooks River. Visitors should check the current event listing before travelling in case a date or arrangement changes.

Businesses and makers interested in becoming stallholders are directed by Council to contact market organiser The Market Edit or use its expression-of-interest process.
